This course is free to attend for staff from UK higher education providers with full QAA Membership. Places are limited to two per QAA Member. (They are not available to those with Introductory Membership.)
Quality in Practice: Quality Management
Quality in Practice: Quality Management builds on foundational knowledge of quality management and reference points, reflecting further on some of the challenges and debates in the delivery of quality assurance and enhancement. Following the same format as the Introduction to Quality course, over two weeks, participants engage in a range of asynchronous and live activities that challenge them to consider how approaches to quality management might and could evolve, encourage innovative thinking and support networking.
This course is suitable as progression for those who have already done Introduction to Quality (a minimum gap of 12 months is advised) or as direct-entry. It is intended to support professional services staff who are progressing at team leader/officer-level roles or academic staff taking on particular responsibility for the management of academic quality and standards (for example, programme leaders, department heads or learning and teaching quality leads).
