The UK Quality Code – Consultation Event

QAA has engaged extensively with the sector including students and key stakeholders to develop a significantly revised UK Quality Code. The formal consultation on the proposed 2024 edition of the Quality Code opened on 8 April and will run until 17 May 2024. This will be the final opportunity for influencing the Quality Code which we aim to publish at the end of June 2024. We are holding two events during the consultation period to accompany the online survey. These events will offer:

• A brief overview on the way we have redeveloped the UK Quality Code
• An explanation of the changes made in response to the last round of feedback gathered between November 2023 and January 2024
• A review of the consultation questions and an opportunity to discuss the consultation draft with peers to help shape your own response
• A chance to offer feedback on a proposed schedule for the development of the underpinning Advice and Guidance.

Who should attend?

Anyone who is interested in the redevelopment of the UK Quality Code including senior academic managers, quality professionals, students and their representative bodies, academic staff, members of governing bodies, planning teams and other professional support staff. Colleagues from sector bodies and agencies are also welcome.
