Quality in Practice: Quality Management (June 2024)

Date: June 18 to June 28 - 2024
Location: Online

18 - 28 June 2024, Online

Quality in Practice: Quality Management is a professional development course for staff at UK higher education providers who are QAA Members.

The course considers different approaches to quality management, particularly in relation to the current UK quality assurance regulatory landscape. It highlights challenges you might face in the delivery of quality assurance and enhancement, offering potential solutions, and will help you develop skills and techniques you can use in your day-to-day role.

Who should attend?

Quality in Practice: Quality Management is the most advanced of the three professional development courses that we offer.

It is intended for academic staff with responsibility for the management of academic quality and standards (for example, programme leaders, department heads or learning and teaching quality leads), as well as professional services staff in team leader/officer-level roles.

It is suitable as progression for those who have completed our Introduction to Quality course (a minimum gap of 12 months is advised between the two courses), or as direct entry for those with the appropriate experience/role.

If this course doesn’t feel right for you, take a look at our other professional development courses. If you’re not sure, please email us for advice.
