Our professional development programme offers opportunities for members to actively engage as part of an online cohort to learn effective practices from QAA specialists as well as peers drawn from across the sector.
This course is free to attend for staff from UK higher education providers with full QAA Membership. Places are limited to two per QAA Member. (They are not available to those with Introductory Membership.)
Step into Quality
New for this year, Step into Quality is a live, interactive two-hour workshop providing a short introduction to the management of academic quality and standards in the UK: what they are, why they matter, some of the main internal processes and some of the key sector bodies. It also includes signposting to resources and information.
This course is suitable for anyone new to a role in a higher education provider (whether academic or professional and support services), either to support understanding of context or as a foundation on which to build through engagement with our other courses later. It assumes no prior knowledge of the higher education sector.
