Please find answers below to some of our most frequently asked questions about QAA Membership:
Yes! If your institution holds QAA Membership, all staff and students automatically have access to membership benefits, resources and opportunities throughout the year.
To help share the information with others at your institution, we offer digital posters that showcase these benefits and explain how to access them. Please share these widely to ensure everyone can take full advantage.
You can check our list of QAA Members to see if you're eligible to register. If your institution isn't listed, we'd be happy to talk to you about QAA Membership. Contact us at UKservices@qaa.ac.uk (UK institutions) or internationalmembership@qaa.ac.uk (international institutions), and a member of our team will be in touch. If you experience any issues signing up or logging in, please email membership@qaa.ac.uk for support.
If your new institution is not a QAA Member, we won’t be able to provide continued access. Please note that we’re unable to grant access via personal email addresses.
We’d love to welcome your institution into QAA Membership!
If your institution is based in the UK, please check our eligibility criteria and our different Membership offers before getting in touch with your institutional information at UKservices@qaa.ac.uk. One of our team will be in touch.
If your institution is based outside the UK, please read about the different types of international membership before completing our online application form on this page.
You can access your QAA Membership badge for 2025-26 on the Membership Resources site. The badge is a useful way to show your institution’s commitment to quality enhancement.
You'll only be able to download the badge that matches your membership type, and full guidance on usage is available in the accompanying Terms and Conditions.
If you have any trouble accessing or downloading your badge, please contact us at marcoms@qaa.ac.uk.

Most QAA events are open to all Members, however some are restricted based on the type of membership held. To register, please use your institutional email address. If we’re unable to confirm your institution, we may need to get in touch.
Here’s what different membership packages include:
- Introductory Membership: Access to QAA networks and a limited number of free places at conferences and online events.
- Full QAA Membership: Access to networking communities, webinars, workshops, conferences, online and in-person events, and structured professional development programmes.
- International Membership and Insights packages: Some events are exclusively available to those with our International Insights package, while others are designed specifically for International Members or International Associate Members. This will always be clearly stated in the event details.
If you believe your membership includes access to an event you're unable to register for, please contact events@qaa.ac.uk for support.
To ensure a high-quality experience for attendees, some of our events have limited capacity. We may cap overall numbers or restrict the number of places per member institution to support meaningful discussion and allow time for networking.
If an event reaches capacity, the registration button will no longer be visible, and a waiting list will be in operation. Our events team are happy to advise – please email events@qaa.ac.uk.
