COVID-19 (Coronavirus) – support and guidance

QAA leads the development of Subject Benchmark Statements. These Statements are reviewed on a cyclical basis to ensure they are as useful as possible for discipline communities and can inform a range of purposes across the sector, including course design and providing support for securing academic standards.

We have published 13 draft Subject Benchmark Statements for consultation and wish to gather feedback from the higher education community and stakeholders in order to further shape the drafts prior to their final publication in spring 2022.

The consultation is open to all colleagues from across the higher education sector, including students, staff, professional, statutory and regulatory bodies, subject associations and employers.

How to respond

The consultation documents are published below, and responses should be submitted via the online survey for that Statement

A Microsoft Word version of the consultation questions has also been provided for those who would like to prepare their answers before submitting the online survey.

The closing date for responses is midday on Thursday 9 December and we plan to publish the final Statements in spring 2022.
