Purchasing and Compliance Coordinator

Salary: £21,017 - £26,507 per annum (pro rata), dependent upon knowledge, skills and experience
Contract: 28-35 hours per week, 1-year fixed term contract
Location: Gloucester

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Purchasing and Compliance Coordinator, who shares our commitment to improving and promoting the UK's world-class reputation for delivering a quality higher education experience for all students.

This role, within our Finance and Infrastructure department, is responsible for assisting the Facilities and Compliance Manager in monitoring data protection, information security and health and safety compliance, as well as maintaining the day-to-day aspects of purchasing for QAA.

We are looking for someone who has experience of working in a purchasing (or similar) role and is comfortable with contract negotiations. Knowledge of procurement legislation and data protection compliance is key to this role.

It's important that you can prioritise and work flexibly to accommodate changing priorities and deadlines. Sensitivity and understanding of working in a customer and service-focused environment is essential in this position.
