Membership Advisory Group
The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) is the independent body entrusted with monitoring and advising on academic standards and quality in UK higher education. As the scale, shape, structure and purpose of learning provision in the UK and around the world change, QAA continues to safeguard standards and support the improvement of quality for students - whether they study at a university or college in the UK, or in any other location worldwide where courses lead to UK higher education qualifications.
QAA Membership delivers high-quality services that will:
- help to maintain and enhance UK higher education's global reputation for excellence
- assure the standards and quality on which the reputation of UK higher education is based
- enhance the academic experience of our members' students wherever they are in the world.
At the heart of QAA Membership is a strengthened partnership with our member institutions, ensuring the activities and services we deliver with you, and for you, are driven by our members. The Membership Advisory Group is an important element of this partnership, playing a key role to advise, influence and challenge QAA to develop and deliver activities and services that are relevant to our members' needs and aligned to the higher education sector's priorities.
The Membership Advisory Group will meet three times per academic year. Full travel expenses will be paid in line with QAA's travel and subsistence policy.
Applications are welcome from staff and students from our member institutions.
If you would like an informal conversation about the role, you can contact Sally-Anne Saull, Membership Service Delivery Manager on 01452 557152 or email@example.com
Closing date for all applications: 17.00 on Tuesday 10 September 2019
