QAA Cymru - Micro-credential enhancement project (HEFCW-funded): Practicalities of Delivery
Date: | June 7 - 2023 |
---|---|
Location: | Online |

Wednesday 7 June, 10.00 – 11:30 (Online)
During 2022-23, QAA Cymru has been undertaking a HEFCW-commissioned project to learn more about Micro-credentials in Wales and share practice across the sector.
Micro-credentials are small credit-bearing awards that, individually, do not comprise a qualification as listed on the Frameworks for Higher Education Qualifications. There is more information about Micro-credentials in the Micro-credentials Characteristics Statement.
This work builds on the case studies developed by HEFCW in the publication Higher Education for the Nation: Developing Micro-credentials. More information is available in this blog.
As part of this work, QAA is undertaking a short survey with regulated higher education providers in Wales and following this up with some short discussions on current Micro-credentials activities.
The webinars will be an opportunity to share practice in the area of Micro-credentials in the context of the QAA Micro-credentials Characteristics Statement.
The two webinars will be hosted on:
- Quality Assurance Processes: Wednesday 24 May, 10.00 – 11.30
- Practicalities of Delivery: Wednesday 7 June, 10.00 – 11.30
