8 June 2023, 09:30 – 15:00

This hybrid event, run in collaboration with University of Birmingham, provides an early opportunity to reflect on the first year of the QAA Programme Leader Network and consider how the network should develop to meet the needs of its members. To facilitate further discussions on different dimensions of programme leadership, we have invited a range of speakers with interests in the roles that programme leaders play in the delivery of high-quality educational programmes, the way this pivotal role is recognised and rewarded by employers and opportunities for continuing professional development. There will be ample networking opportunities for colleagues to share their experiences and develop regional and discipline specific communities of practice.

Who should attend?

This event is primarily aimed at academics who are already course and programme leaders/directors. It will also be of interest to module leaders who aspire to become programme leaders, Associate Deans, Associate PVCs and other academic managers who have responsibility for the delivery and quality assurance of portfolios of programmes and educational developers support the professional development of programme leaders.

Sign up to access the online discussion forum where you can join the practice sharing conversation and be the first to hear when events go live!
