This intensive five-day course provides an excellent opportunity to enrich your understanding of quality assurance and enhancement, learn about the UK quality assurance system, and build relationships with quality assurance professionals from around the world.
You can expect high-quality presentations by experts in UK higher education quality assurance and comprehensive study materials, as well as visits to institutions to learn more about higher education quality in practice. All delegates will receive a certificate of attendance signed by Vicki Stott, Chief Executive of QAA.
QAA has previously welcomed IQAP delegates from more than 40 countries across Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, and Oceania/Australasia. All have taken the opportunity to learn about a range of topics including:
- collaborative arrangements
- self-evaluation
- peer review
- report writing
- the student experience.

Who should attend?
This event is most useful to delegates that:
- have at least five years’ management experience within higher education quality assurance
- work in a management or leadership role with a responsibility for quality improvement
- are looking for an opportunity to develop their knowledge of quality improvement practice within the higher education sector.
The programme will be delivered entirely in English, so delegates must have a sufficient level of spoken and written English to benefit fully from the programme.
Booking
The delegate fee for the five-day programme is £1,870.
Please note the price does not include the following:
- return transport to the UK
- costs associated with visas
- evening meals (other than networking events within the programme)
- accommodation in the UK
- airport transfers in the UK.
