If you have been given access to QAA systems, this page details how you can log in and some tips if you are having issues or need to reset your password.

 

Links to your required system will be provided by your contact at QAA.

 

Logging in  

 

When prompted, login using your QAA credentials. You will need to login using your username i.e. j.bloggs followed by @qaa.ac.uk so it will be in this format j.bloggs@qaa.ac.uk and your password.

 

You will then be asked to authenticate using the Microsoft Authenticator app. If you have not set this up yet just follow the instructions on the screen.




Have another Microsoft 365 account? 

 

If you use Microsoft 365 account at your institution/organisation or maybe even a personal one, then you may need to access the QAA Microsoft 365/SharePoint Online link using an ‘in private’ or ‘incognito’ session to ensure that you don’t get issues logging in due to conflicts of accounts.

 

Usually this can be done by right clicking your preferred browser and making the appropriate selection to open a new incognito or in-private browser window. You can then copy and paste the link into the new browser bar that opens.

How to reset your QAA password if you have forgotten it:

 

Please note: This will only work if you have previously set up another means of multi-factor authentication to secure your account.

  1. Go to office.com and click on ‘Can’t access your account’

  1. Select work or school account

  1. Enter your QAA username and characters in the picture, click next and follow the on-screen prompts to reset your password. You will be prompted to authenticate using whatever method you have set up to secure your account.

If you can log in and just need to reset your password:
  1. Click on your name in the top right corner and select ‘view account’

If you are unable to log in and/or reset your password, please contact QAA’s IT department on this email IT@qaaservicedesk.freshservice.com ensuring that you leave a contact number and a link to the system you are trying to access.
