Tailored training around international partnerships and TNE
A QAA-led professional development workshop was delivered to strengthen the confidence and capability of University of Portsmouth colleagues working in international partnerships and transnational education (TNE). By exploring strategic alignment, regulatory frameworks, risk management and quality assurance, supported by participative sessions and practical case studies, the workshop provided a comprehensive foundation for effective partnership governance and continuous improvement across global collaborations. Staff attending the workshop said they found the insights incredibly valuable, with the sessions helping to clarify institutional priorities and best practices, and offering practical guidance that will inform future TNE development and decision-making.
The workshop provided valuable insight into the practices and priorities we maintain around TNE as an institution, and will serve as a useful guide for the decisions we make moving forward. This will prove valuable when making future decisions regarding TNE at our institution.
