Date: September 4 - 2025

QAA has published the programme for its one-day Quality Insights Autumn Conference, which will take place online on 2 October 2025, and which is open to staff and students at QAA Member institutions.

The conference will be opened by our Chief Executive Vicki Stott, followed by a keynote address from GuildHE CEO Dr Brooke Storer-Church, exploring the sector's capacity for resilience, adaptability and innovation in the face of today's unprecedented challenges.

The conference will also feature a discussion focusing on the Lifelong Learning Entitlement with a representative of the Department for Education giving insights on the approval process and exploring what the LLE will mean for providers, learners, and quality assurance.

There will also be sessions on curriculum transformation, inclusive student engagement, inclusive assessment, assessment practices in the age of AI, and peer observation of teaching.

Speakers will include Professor Philip Hanna (Dean of Education, Queen's University Belfast), Professor Shushma Patel (Pro Vice-Chancellor for Artificial Intelligence, De Montfort University), Professor Matt O'Leary (Professor of Education, Birmingham City University), Sam Grierson (Quality Review and Enhancement Manager, University of Warwick), Professor Nadia Gulko (Professor of Accounting Education and Sustainability, Lincoln International Business School, University of Lincoln) and Rob Stroud, QAA's Executive Director of Quality Assurance and Enhancement.
