QAA has unveiled its plans for the key themes which will underpin the resources, updates, projects, initiatives and activities we will offer our members next academic year.
Our teams have spent the last few months talking with QAA members to identify the core themes through which our work can best support colleagues, students and institutions as we address the sector's ongoing challenges and opportunities together over the coming year.
These will include:
- Curriculum redesign – helping you rethink programme architecture, inclusive and flexible design, and the integration of industry and future skills to deliver coherent, future ready curriculums for students.
- Strengthening partnership oversight – equipping you to build strong governance and accountability, develop partnership capability and pedagogy, and manage academic and reputational risk with confidence.
- Responding to emerging policy and regulatory change – giving you timely intelligence and practical support to prepare for TEF, meet evolving regulatory expectations and respond to lifelong learning priorities.
- Future-proofing assessment – enabling you to design authentic, inclusive and AI aware assessment that balances innovation with academic integrity and maintains confidence in standards.
- Transforming quality processes – supporting you to protect academic standards, streamline quality arrangements and strengthen data informed decision making across your institution.
"We have a packed programme planned for the coming academic year," says Dr Kerr Castle, Head of Digital, Marketing & Communications at QAA. "And one key message we really want to share is that all staff and students at QAA member organisations are QAA members themselves, and can register with us for free to access all our resources and to take part in QAA events and activities. So, do please take advantage of all the benefits that QAA membership offers!"
