IQAP 2026 programme published

Date: May 11 - 2026

The UK Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education has published the full programme of events for this year's International Quality Assurance Programme (IQAP), our annual professional development event for colleagues from across the world involved in the quality assurance and enhancement of higher education.

IQAP runs from Monday 22 June to Friday 26 June, and takes place at the historic Arundel House in the heart of central London, between the Strand and the River Thames.

IQAP has attracted delegates from nearly 50 countries across Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East and Australasia.  This is our 11th IQAP event and this year’s programme will feature new sessions and guest speakers from QAA member universities in the UK.

IQAP includes sessions which explore national and international quality frameworks, cultures of quality engagement, self-evaluation mechanisms, transnational education, internal and external quality assurance processes, quality enhancement and the impacts of generative artificial intelligence.

The programme also includes site visits to Richmond American University London and the University of London to explore how quality is managed by UK institutions.

There are even opportunities for lunchtime guided walks of the local area, plus a special afternoon tea at London's famous County Hall, overlooking the Thames and the Houses of Parliament.

In addition to QAA's own experts, the five-day events guest speakers include Professor Annie Hughes (Kingston University), Professor Gunter Saunders (University of Westminster), Dr Rachel McGregor (Robert Gordon University) and Louise Blair (University of Essex).

"We very much hope you'll join us in London next month for what promises to be a very special and productive week of learning and international networking," says event organiser QAA's Tim Carnley.
