Collaborative Enhancement Projects 2024-25 - call for expressions of interest
Date: | September 27 - 2024 |
---|
Following four successful funding calls since 2020, QAA is inviting Members to participate in the 2024-25 round of Collaborative Enhancement Projects.
QAA offers funding of up to £10,000 for groups of providers to work together to explore areas of shared interest and enhance the quality of their own students' learning experiences. Each project will benefit the partners who are directly involved and should also develop outputs that will be useful for the wider QAA Membership community.
Each project must led by a QAA Member based in England but project partners can be drawn from across the UK and beyond. Collaborative project teams can also include organisations such as a relevant subject association or a professional, statutory, and regulatory body (PSRB).
QAA Members in England are welcome to submit project proposals based on topics they see as a priority to the sector. However, we are particularly interested in submissions relating to the following themes:
- Imaginative approaches for assessing knowledge and skills
- Good practice in strategic reform
- Enhancing student outcomes
- Postgraduate provision
- Flexible pathways and effective transitions
Dr Ailsa Crum, Director of Membership, Quality Enhancement and Standards at QAA said: 'It’s inspiring to see the commitment and enthusiasm our members bring to their projects, and the wealth of insights and practical materials they deliver to support the higher and tertiary education sectors is truly remarkable.'
A veteran of QAA-funded Collaborative Enhancement Projects, Sam Elkington, Professor of Learning and Teaching at Teesside University, added: 'Leading and participating in two different Collaborative Enhancement Projects since 2020 has been transformational for my personal and professional development. The opportunities have enabled me to create new connections and explore further collaborations with passionate, like-minded colleagues across the sector.'
Further information, including eligibility, funding allocation and selection criteria is available on the Call for expressions of interest web page. The deadline to apply is midday on Monday 11 November.
