Collaborative Enhancement Project funding is now open

Date: August 14 - 2026

Now in its seventh year, the Collaborative Enhancement Projects (CEP) scheme is one of the most tangible benefits of QAA membership, offering funding to work alongside peers on the challenges you're all facing, with the results shared across the sector.

The impact is real and measurable. Since 2021, the programme has invested over £827,000 in 91 projects across 147 institutions and sector organisations, producing ready-to-use resources on AI, student voice, employability and more.

Only QAA members can apply. This year we're funding five projects that can be led by UK members, one for each of our 2026-27 themes:

  • Curriculum redesign

  • Strengthening partnership oversight

  • Responding to emerging policy and regulatory change

  • Future-proofing assessment

  • Transforming quality processes.

UK members can apply for £3,000 to £15,000.

In addition, up to two projects will be jointly funded by QAA and Medr supporting collaborative activity in Wales. We're also funding one International Collaborative Enhancement Project, open to Accredited International Members (up to £15,000) and Associate International Members (up to £10,000). Funding can support student collaboration, research, software, events and knowledge exchange.

Applications are open until Monday 2 November 2026 for UK members. Accredited International and Associate International members can apply until Monday 1 March 2027. All members can find the application form and full guidance on the Membership Resources site - apply now!
