The scheme is structured around a broad theme for each year based on features of an effective partnership/arrangement. For 2026-27, this theme is Contextualisation which will be used to support the focus of partnership insights and case studies, as well as a Thematic Insight report.

Membership of the UK TNE Quality Scheme is available on an annual basis. The membership year for 2026-27 will run from 1 August 2026 until 31 July 2027. The scheme is open to all UK higher education providers.
