Information and Enhancement Coordinator
|Salary:||£21,017 - £26,507 per annum, dependent upon knowledge, skills and experience|
Are you a flexible team player with excellent communication skills and a desire to work in the Scottish university sector?
Higher education is changing across the UK, and QAA is evolving to meet its needs. We are the UK’s independent quality body for higher education with a mission to safeguard and improve the quality of UK higher education, wherever it is delivered in the world. QAA has already started work as the designated quality body for higher education in England, and our new membership scheme was launched in July. We’re changing the way we work, and introducing new services to benefit universities and colleges in the UK and support their operation globally.
We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Information and Enhancement Coordinator to join our small, fast-paced QAA Scotland team, who shares our commitment to improving and promoting the UK’s world class reputation for delivering a quality higher education experience for all students.
You will have first-class organisational skills, the ability to write content for a variety of audiences in a range of traditional and new media, and be able to provide administrative support for projects and events.
The role involves a wide range of activity from creating content for newsletters and social media campaigns, and organising events linked to our work with the university sector, to supporting the running of a small busy office.
Prior knowledge of the university sector would be a distinct advantage.
This is a full-time, 35 hours per week, permanent role based in our Glasgow city centre office.
If you like the sound of this exciting opportunity to work with us, email your CV with a tailored covering letter to HR at email@example.com.
Closing date for applications is Monday 29 July at midday.
Interviews will be held on Thursday 15 August in our Glasgow office.
QAA values equality and diversity and recognises the benefits this brings. We welcome applications from all qualified people and are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives and skills.
