It is my long-time passion and academic interest to contribute for a better assessment in higher education. After many disputable assessment experiences students report from their years in secondary education, I believe they, as emerging adults and close-future professionals, deserve an assessment that is fair, valid, multi-faced, connected with real-life and professional world of work. With the impact of technology and AI, the teachers in higher education need to be more agile as ever in improving assessment practices to diminish the cognitive prejudice of uncritical use of AI in academic learning. I am honoured to join the conversation in this Advisory Group to support joint efforts for a prompt response to the challenges, but also opportunities, this crisis, as any other crisis, offers for innovative and improved approaches to teaching, learning and assessment, the holy trio of learning achievements.
