UK TNE Quality Scheme

 

Dedicated, sector-led and practical support for delivering effective, high-quality transnational education















 

QAA membership gives us clarity and confidence through trusted guidance and practical support, helping us meet sector expectations and deliver a high-quality student experience. Since engaging with QAA, we’ve been able to implement clear processes and guidance which has strengthened our programmes, improved consistency in teaching and assessment, and ensured compliance with sector expectations.

The QAA membership year runs from 1 August to 31 July each year. Membership is available to higher education providers who are:

  • a legal entity registered or established in the UK or a UK crown dependency, and delivering, or planning to deliver, UK qualifications at Level 4 and above of the FHEQ or Level 7 and above of the SCQF
  • subject to one of the following: review by QAA; the quality or regulatory arrangements that apply to higher education in one of the UK nations; the oversight (for example, through a formal collaborative partnership) of a provider which itself is subject to the quality or regulatory arrangements that apply to higher education institutions in one of the UK nations; completed a contractual service with QAA within the last three years.
