As we approach the 20th anniversary of the Quality Enhancement Framework in Scotland and progress early work on our 2020-23 Enhancement Theme - Resilient Learning Communities, we have launched a call for expressions of interest for Enhancement Theme evaluation.
Responding to feedback from the sector, we wish to take this opportunity to confirm that there are two distinct project strands:
Both project strands will help us to identify what impact the Enhancement Themes approach has had, and is having, in Scotland - not just on sector-level culture but, ultimately, the student experience.
Worth a total of up to £100,000 and running for the duration of the 2020-23 Enhancement Theme, the evaluation activity provides a great opportunity to work with the Scottish higher education sector.
Many countries around the world have looked to the Scottish approach and both of these evaluation projects will help us to identify what is effective and how we can continue to improve the nature of what we do.
We welcome applications from individuals and groups and would be delighted to hear from you. We will accept expressions of interest for both project strands together, or for one of the two project strands separately. Please make it clear whether you are submitting an expression of interest for both strands or just one of the strands - evaluation of Resilient Learning Communities or evaluation of the entirety of Enhancement Theme activity.
Further details and the application form are in the documents below. Deadline for applications is 17.00 GMT on 30 November 2020.
Please do make contact with us at ARCadmin@qaa.ac.uk if you would like to discuss any aspects.
