Quality Insights Conference 2023: Your chance to present

Calling all staff and students from QAA Member institutions to engage in our flagship Quality Insights conference - submit your conference proposals now!

The conference will take place online on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 February 2023.

Individuals and groups can submit sessions under one of the three conference themes: 

Creating successful academic communities 

From space to place, individuals to communities, this theme will explore how students join and find their place within an academic community and how they can be supported to navigate between study and work environments. 

Graduate outcomes and attributes for the real world 

Supporting student achievement and progression through and beyond higher education is a central mission for higher education institutions. How do we help students (and employers) understand - and be able to talk about - the skills, knowledge and attributes we help them to acquire? 

Evaluating and enhancing practice 

With so much to focus on, how do we determine our priorities for improvement and enhancement? This theme will explore the changing nature of quality processes (monitoring and review) as well as evaluation of particular interventions and initiatives. 

We welcome sessions as either a 20-minute presentation (with 10-minutes Q&A) or a 10-minute lightning talk. 

Session proposals are invited from staff and students from any higher education institution that is currently a QAA Member. The closing date for submissions is Monday 21 November at 5pm and QAA will inform you if your proposal has been accepted no later than Friday 9 December.
