QAA invites Expressions of Interest to join Subject Advisory Groups for Subject Benchmark Statements

Date: October 15 - 2021

QAA invites expressions of interest to join Subject Advisory Groups for the latest set of Subject Benchmark Statement reviews. QAA leads the development of Subject Benchmark Statements and reviews them on a cyclical basis to ensure they serve as a useful resource for discipline communities, and can inform a range of purposes - including as reference points in the design, delivery and review of academic courses.

In 2021-22, QAA will be reviewing the following subjects:

  • Anthropology
  • Biomedical Sciences
  • Biosciences
  • Business and Management
  • Economics
  • Engineering
  • English
  • Languages, Cultures and Societies
  • Law
  • Linguistics
  • Mathematics, Statistics and Operational Research
  • Politics and International Relations
  • Psychology

Membership of advisory groups is open to members of the academic community, employers, professional, statutory and regulatory bodies (PSRBs) and students. Academic representatives and current students will only be drawn from higher education providers who are QAA Members.

More information on how to submit an expression of interest - along with details of what the role involves - is available on our call for expressions of interest webpage. The deadline to submit an expression of interest is midday on Friday 12 November 2021.
