QAA invites expressions of interest to help create a new Subject Benchmark Statement in Public Policy and Public Administration

QAA is inviting expressions of interest from the academic community to join the Advisory Group for a new Subject Benchmark Statement in Public Policy and Public Administration.

QAA leads the development of Subject Benchmark Statements and reviews them on a cyclical basis to ensure they are as useful as possible for discipline communities and can fulfil a range of purposes across the sector, including providing support for securing academic standards through course design and review.

QAA is committed to ensuring that the Advisory Group reflects the rich diversity of the subject community, with the aim of promoting equality, diversity and inclusivity in the development and content of the Statement.  

Dr Ailsa Crum, QAA’s Director of Membership, Quality Enhancement and Standards said: ‘We warmly encourage members of the academic community to participate in the making of this Subject Benchmark Statement and to offer their expertise so that it is as useful and relevant as possible. This Statement will offer real value to those teaching and studying Public Policy and Public Administration and we are grateful to those who contribute their time and effort in creating it.’

Academic representatives will only be drawn from higher education providers who are QAA Members.

The deadline for submissions is midday on 5 July 2023.
