QAA has today launched a call for expressions of interest for Collaborative Enhancement Projects funded by HEFCW through grant arrangements with QAA.
These are projects where groups of providers agree to work collectively on matters of mutual interest which have the potential to add value to the whole sector once complete. Collaborative Enhancement Projects are aimed at promoting collaboration and sector development. These project groups will be asked to report on progress to QAA Cymru and regularly share learning from their activity. These project groups will be supported by QAA Cymru, through HEFCW grant funding, and some staff facilitator support.
This call is for two separate projects only. The two topic areas are Micro-credentials and Student Complaints and Extenuating Circumstances. Proposals outside of these areas will not be considered.
Alastair Delaney, Executive Director of Operations and Deputy Chief Executive at QAA said:
‘Collaborative Enhancement Projects are an excellent way of promoting sector collaboration, development and enhancement bringing together valuable experience from multiple providers to benefit the whole sector. This is the second call QAA has made for Collaborative Enhancement Projects in Wales, the first being in March 2021. We’re looking forward to working with providers in this latest round of projects, funded via our grant arrangements with HEFCW.’
You can see the outputs from our other projects, including two led by Welsh higher education providers, on the QAA website:
