Conversations across the Quality Continuum in QAA Annual Conference
Date: | May 3 - 2022 |
---|
QAA will continue our ‘QAA at 25’ series of conversations about quality with the sector at our online Annual Conference entitled ‘The Quality Continuum’. The conference is a reflection of the many different perspectives of quality and standards in higher education, bringing together thought leads, decision makers, quality experts and students to share insights and inspiration. It is delivered in QAA’s capacity as a member organisation.
Speakers will challenge thinking on how to create impact through quality assurance, share their vision of how things are changing and the opportunities ahead in the UK and international higher education landscape.
Keynote sessions at the conference will be delivered by Professor Graham Virgo, Senior Pro Vice-Chancellor for Education at Cambridge University and Vicki Stott, QAA’s Chief Executive. There will also be an opportunity to discover more about QAA’s latest work through short ‘Quality Updates’ sessions.
A choice of interactive breakout sessions will explore:
- The Future of Digital and Blended Delivery
- Creating Inclusive Learning Communities - Flexible Pathways and Pedagogies
- Global Engagement and TNE
- Securing Academic Standards and Quality
The Quality Continuum is aimed at those with a strategic and/or operational responsibility for ensuring higher education institutions deliver and maintain a high-quality student experience. It will also be of interest to students and student representatives, organisations and employers working closely with the higher education sector.
The Conference takes place on Wednesday 11 May (9.00-13.20 BST) and Thursday 12 May (9.30-13.30 BST). Staff and students at QAA member institutions can register for free on the event booking site. For non-QAA members, the fee for the conference is £345 per person.
