Consultation on changes to Subject Benchmark Statement for Early Childhood Studies

We are running a consultation on proposed minor amendments to the Subject Benchmark Statement for Early Childhood Studies (2014). Subject Benchmark Statements describe the nature of study and the academic standards expected of graduates in specific subject areas. They show what graduates might reasonably be expected to know, do and understand at the end of their studies.

Respondents are invited to consider the proposed changes to the Statement and reply through our online survey. The consultation will close on 1 April at 5pm.

Responses to the consultation will be considered in coordination with the Chair of the Early Childhood Studies Advisory Group and the final Statement published in the summer 2019.
