Developments in Indian higher education

Date: April 28 - 2021
Location: Online

28 April 2021 (10:00 - 11:00)

Following the publication of the QAA Country Report on India, we are delighted to be joined by Dr Pankaj Mittal, Secretary General of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and Ms Rittika Parruck, Assistant Director Programmes North India at British Council India for a webinar on the New Education Policy 2020 and changes which impact internationalisation and UK-Indian partnerships.

The webinar will look at current developments across Indian higher education as implementation of the New Education Policy progresses and how proposed changes to regulations impact UK-India partnerships and development of transnational education (TNE) activities.

This session is open to QAA International Insights Members and is designed for those working with institutional partners or delivering TNE in India, as well as those seeking to develop either of these opportunities.

It may also be of interest to staff working in partnership teams, international development teams and quality roles who want to know more about the HE landscape in India and specifically the New Education Policy 2020 and developments which impact internationalisation.

This webinar is open to students and staff from QAA Member institutions who subscribe to our International Insights package.
