Access to HE Conference
Mind the Gap: Developing skills, Delivering Opportunity
|Date:||April 23 - 2020|
|Venue:||Queen Mary University|
23 April 2020 9.50-15.30 (Registration from 9.00)
This one-day event focuses on the importance of skills and lifelong learning to facilitate greater labour market flexibility and career opportunities for adults. We recognise the need to reskill and provide continuing education and training, and the ways we can map skills to curriculum. The demonstration of high-quality education and value for money all have a role to play in maintaining the Access to HE Diploma as robust progression to a graduate career.
This year, our conference is being held in conjunction with the Quality Assurance Agency conference, providing opportunities for further and higher education participants to discuss this important topic. You will also be able to select and participate in interactive breakout sessions with your higher education peers in:
- international partnerships
- quality 2030
- value and standards.
By running the event in April, we hope to give delegates the opportunity to consider how they can implement ideas that they gain from it before launching into the new teaching year in September 2020.
Further information about this event, including how to register, is available on our booking site.
