COVID-19 (Coronavirus) – support and guidance

We have hosted three breakfast briefings for pro-vice-chancellors, education (or equivalent roles) from member institutions to hear from our senior team and network with colleagues. The December session included an update on our UK and international campaigning and influencing activities, plus discussion on recent sector consultations.

The second session took place in January with over 70 participants engaged in lively discussion. QAA provided a brief update about on-going COVID-19 support and our work with the Westminster Universities Minister and PSRBs to support students on accredited courses. Three colleagues shared practice on ’safety net’ measures in view of the January lockdown.

The March session focused discussions on academic integrity, developments in our international activity, the links between good practice in digital pedagogy and student performance, our collaborative enhancement projects and an opportunity to shape the Membership offer for 2021-22.

What do our members say?

In the coming months, we plan to introduce further opportunities for other networks including for pro-vice-chancellors, international (or equivalent roles), and colleagues in specialist providers. If you are interested in forming a community of practice, please email us.
