In April 2018, QAA became the designated quality body (DQB) under a new regulatory framework, with responsibility for assessing quality and standards in English higher education.
In performing our role as DQB, we charge fees to a provider each year that cover up to four distinct areas of activity.
Technical guidance explains more about the payment of fee, with separate guidance available for instances of delayed publication of student numbers and where new providers have joined the register in year.
Statutory Charging Statements detail the fees we charge providers and how they are calculated.
