Important Notes

In the QAA Institutional Audit in December 2010, the University of Bolton received judgements on its collaborative provision of limited confidence in the soundness of its current and likely future management of the academic standards of its awards and in the likely future management of the quality of learning opportunities available to students. The University received judgements of confidence with regard to students of its campus-based provision. As a result, QAA and the University agreed an action plan to address the recommendations of the audit report. As QAA is satisfied that the necessary actions have now been taken, the audit has been signed off as complete by the QAA Board, and a follow-up report detailing the actions that have progressed and other developments at the University published. In Institutional Audit judgements are not changed until an institution is next audited/reviewed.
