Important note

In response to the findings highlighted in this review report, the provider has published an action plan (opens in a new window).

Since the report on Lincoln College was published, the review team can now confirm that the College, working in partnership with the student body, has satisfactorily addressed the review team's recommendation relating to the negative judgement for the quality of the information about learning opportunities, through the action-planning process. In June 2016 the judgement was amended from 'does not meet UK expectations' to 'meets UK expectations'.

Previous review report

We visit universities and colleges once every six years to conduct a Higher Education Review of the standards and quality of the education they provide.

We train staff and students from other providers to carry out the review of the university or college and to make judgements on its management of quality and standards, its commitment to the process of improving its systems, and the reliability of the information produced about its provision.

We are independent of government, universities and colleges and our findings and judgements are published here.
