Important note

​Since the report on LeSoCo was published, the review team can now confirm that the College, working in partnership with the student body, has satisfactorily addressed the review team's initial recommendations relating to the originally negative judgement on the enhancement of student learning opportunities, through the action planning process. In April 2016 the judgement was amended from 'requires improvement to meet UK expectations' to 'meets UK expectations'.

LeSoCo has changed its name to Lewisham Southwark College​.

Lewisham College and Southwark College merged to form LeSoCo in ​​January 2014.

We visit universities and colleges once every six years to conduct a Higher Education Review of the standards and quality of the education they provide.

We train staff and students from other providers to carry out the review of the university or college and to make judgements on its management of quality and standards, its commitment to the process of improving its systems, and the reliability of the information produced about its provision.

We are independent of government, universities and colleges and our findings and judgements are published here.
