Application for Foundation Degree Awarding Powers

This report reflects the findings of a team appointed by QAA to conduct a detailed scrutiny of an application from Hull College Group for the power to award Foundation Degrees. The Privy Council granted foundation degree awarding powers to Hull College Group on a renewable basis in 2016.

We visit universities and colleges once every six years to conduct a Higher Education Review of the standards and quality of the education they provide.

We train staff and students from other providers to carry out the review of the university or college and to make judgements on its management of quality and standards, its commitment to the process of improving its systems, and the reliability of the information produced about its provision.

We are independent of government, universities and colleges and our findings and judgements are published here.
