Transnational Education (TNE) Sounding Board

The Transnational Education (TNE) Sounding Board is a group established by QAA to help shape a better approach to the quality assurance of UK TNE.

The Board has been formed as a response to a recommendation of the report of the TNE Implementation Group in Autumn 2015. That report had an overarching recommendation that QAA in partnership with its subscribers, develop a more strategic and coordinated approach to the external quality assurance and enhancement of UK TNE.

The TNE Sounding Board has been built in dialogue with QAA's members, Universities UK, Universities Wales, University Scotland and GuildHE. A broad range of institutions is represented, including one from outside the UK, as well as members from other organisations with interests in this area, including HEGlobal and the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA).
