    Description

Transnational Education (TNE) Review is the review process through which QAA, on behalf of HEFCE, the Scottish Funding Council, HEFCW, and the Department for the Economy Northern Ireland, promotes and maintains the academic quality and standards of UK higher education delivered overseas.

The purpose of this Handbook is to state the aims of TNE Review, set out the underlying approach, and give guidance to providers taking part in, and preparing for, TNE Review.

This method was revised in September 2017, taking into account the experience of implementing it as part of the review of UK TNE in Ireland. The revised method comes into effect in January 2018 as part of our review of UK TNE in Hong Kong.
