About the event
QAA is excited to bring together student representative bodies, students, policy makers and higher education student engagement practitioners from across the UK to discuss the changing regulatory landscape, how these changes have impacted student engagement, and how to maintain momentum in the new environment.
Jointly hosted with The Student Engagement Partnership (TSEP), Quality Matters 2017 offers a mix of interactive workshops, information giving and best practice sharing sessions to provide information to those across the spectrum of student engagement in quality assurance. Featuring keynotes from influential speakers across the higher education sector, this event will look at key changes to the higher education world, and how we can all continue to work in partnership to make sure student engagement is at the heart of the new landscape.
We are delighted to welcome breakouts from WonkHE, Blackpool and the Fylde College, NUS, QAA and TSEP, which will no doubt provide inspiring and informative sessions.
We will also be running a poster session throughout the day, where delegates can view posters submitted by institutions highlighting their own good practice and innovative processes on engaging students within quality assurance. If you would like to submit a poster for this session, please contact Ruth Burchell (firstname.lastname@example.org).
If you are a newly elected sabbatical officer, student representative, students' union staff member or institutional staff member with a remit in student engagement in quality assurance, then this is the event for you.
