Quality Enhancement Network

The Quality Enhancement Network (QEN) is designed exclusively to support QAA subscribers in enhancing and sustaining effective management of quality and standards in higher education. We host a number of QEN events each year, which are free for subscribers to attend.

About this event

This joint seminar is hosted by QAA, under its Quality Enhancement Network banner, and the UK Council for Graduate Education (UKCGE), and will focus on the doctoral student experience. It will highlight recent research into the value of the PhD and offer insight into the experiences of postgraduate students working in a range of discipline areas. Participants will be offered the opportunity to discuss the case studies and share good practice, relating innovative approaches in supporting PhD students.

Who this event is for

  • PhD supervisors
  • PhD students
  • Postgraduate student liaison staff
  • Quality practitioners with an interest in postgraduate student experience
  • NUS staff with remit for postgraduate education.

These events are open exclusively to QAA subscribers and are free to attend. Registration for both venues will open shortly.
