QAA Annual Conference 2017

Building on world-class quality

Event date 9-10 May 2017
Location East Midlands Conference Centre, University of Nottingham

About the event

The QAA Annual Conference will explore new developments that will keep our sector at the leading edge of higher education internationally. It provides a unique opportunity to:

  • hear keynotes speeches from leading organisations across the higher education sector
  • discuss latest issues around policy and strategy
  • share practice and learn about new ways of working
  • build networks and meet other quality professionals.

This year's conference - 'Building on world-class quality' - will see the launch of QAA's new Strategy 2017-20. It will also be an excellent and timely opportunity to discuss the changing regulatory landscape and topics of the moment, including degree and graduate apprenticeships, changing approaches to degree awarding powers, transnational education, and the emergence of global universities.

Who should attend?

Those with a strategic and/or operational responsibility for ensuring higher education institutions deliver and maintain a high quality student experience. It may also be of interest to organisations and employers working closely with the higher education sector.
