Webinar: Higher Education in Apprenticeships

Event date 4 June 2018 1pm-2pm
Location Online

About this event

This Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) webinar will examine higher education in apprenticeships. There has been much change in the regulation and availability of, and funding for, apprenticeships over recent years, including the introduction of apprenticeships at levels 4 to 7 (levels 8 to 11 in Scotland).

If an apprenticeship includes a higher education qualification at degree level, it is known as a Degree Apprenticeship in England and Wales; a Graduate Level Apprenticeship in Scotland; and a Higher Level Apprenticeship in Northern Ireland.
QAA has invited four speakers to share their experiences of assuring quality in apprenticeships, identifying potential challenges and opportunities for providers.

This webinar provides participants with the opportunity to hear from those involved in the quality assurance of apprenticeships in England and to ask questions. It aims to raise awareness of higher education in apprenticeships and what should be considered in assuring quality.

Please note that this webinar is open to QAA subscribers only.
