safeguarding standards and improving the quality of UK higher education

Early bird registration opens for the UK’s leading learning and teaching conference

Date 26/02/2018

Are we using the right evidence to bring about change and genuinely improve the student experience? This is the question that has inspired the 15th Enhancement Conference – Evaluation, Evidence and Enhancement Conference taking place on 7 June 2018 at Glasgow Caledonian University.

During the event, we will hear from Dr George Siemens on evidence to support new models of learning and Dr Camille Kandiko Howson on approaches to measuring learning gain.

Thinking will also be shared around: data landscapes; using qualitative and quantitative approaches to enhance student retention, attainment and employability; finding effective evidence for prompting student engagement, and evaluating improvements in the student experience.

This event is an excellent opportunity to learn from other higher education stakeholders and fuel debate around the use of evidence in improving the student experience. To avoid disappointment,  we encourage you to register now while early bird rates apply and there are funded places for Scottish-based students and staff.

For more information on the conference and to register, visit the Enhancement Themes event page.
