QAA Scotland is now accepting session proposals for our 3rd International Enhancement in Higher Education Conference: Inspiring Excellence - Transforming the Student Experience.
The conference builds on the success of our second international conference, held in 2015, which attracted over 600 delegates from 14 countries, and will present a multifaceted approach to transforming the student experience.
Scotland is recognised internationally for its radical approach to evaluating quality in higher education. At the heart of this approach is collaboration: be it on the local, national or international level. Our conference is an opportunity to learn from others, in addition to being a celebration of the outcomes of work the Scottish higher education sector has been actively progressing on the Student Transitions Enhancement Theme as part of our integrated Quality Enhancement Framework.
In addition to our keynote and plenary speakers, we are inviting proposals for parallel sessions from policy makers, students and practitioners. The conference will embrace six broad tracks, which are explicitly intended to support our desire to engage with delegates from across the UK and around the globe.
- Using data to enhance the student experience
- National and institutional approaches to quality and evaluating impact
- Internationalising the student experience
- Accessing higher education
- Transitions through higher education
- Positive destinations for students including postgraduate study and employability
The deadline for submitting proposals is 17.00 on Wednesday 7 December 2016. More information about the conference, tracks and the submission process can be found here.
The conference will take place on 6-8 June 2017 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Glasgow. Booking will open in early February.
We look forward to your proposals and hope to see you in Glasgow.
