We carry out reviews of osteopathic courses and providers on behalf of the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), the statutory regulatory body for osteopaths.

Osteopathic courses that meet GOsC requirements for standards and quality are awarded Recognised Qualification status, subject to approval from the Privy Council. Graduates from these courses are allowed to register with the GOsC and legally practise osteopathy in the UK.

Decisions concerning the award of Recognised Qualification status are made following our reviews. More information about osteopathic courses and providers, including published review reports, is available on the GOsC website.
