As part of our contract with the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), we produce an annual report detailing our audit and review activity for the year.
The most recent report covers our audit and review work in the academic year September 2008 to August 2009.

- most institutions are providing clear information to their students
- institutions' management of quality and standards is working well, and in particular, the partnership arrangements between colleges and their awarding bodies
- there is evidence to demonstrate that in many institutions employers are involved in the design, content and delivery of courses
- many examples of good practice in student support were also identified.
