Appointment of Members to the Access Recognition and Licensing Committee (ARLC)
We currently have a vacancy for a new member to join our Access Recognition and Licensing Committee (ARLC).
The ALRC is a committee of the QAA Board. It receives reports on AVA monitoring activity and makes recommendations to the Board about the award and withdrawal of AVA licences, and advises on major developments in other areas of QAA's Access to HE activities.
The Board delegates authority to the Committee to oversee QAA's framework for the recognition of Access to HE courses, the AVA licensing process; and developments of the Access to HE qualification. ;
We invite applications from individuals who will engage with our vision, and will be strong ambassadors of QAA and Access to HE. We are particularly interested in attracting senior professionals with expertise in higher education policy context relating to widening participation, social mobility and fair access.
QAA welcomes applications from people in all sections of the community and values diversity.
The ARLC normally meets three times a year; meetings will take place in Gloucester and London.
The closing date for applications is noon 7 September 2018.
Interviews will be held on 20 September 2018.
