Information publication scheme

Although we are not covered by the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA), we are committed to meeting its standards of openness and accountability. The FOIA requires all those covered to have a publication scheme detailing the classes of information available to the public. We have our own information publication scheme, as detailed below. All requests for information will be dealt with in the spirit of the FOIA so far as is reasonable and practical.

All our current publications can be downloaded free on our website (unless stated otherwise). If you require any of our publications in an alternative format, or if you need access to any older reports or reports undertaken using our previous review methods (also available free of charge), please contact our Enquiries team

In some cases, elements of individual documents may be redacted in accordance with the provisions of the FOIA or the Data Protection Act 1998.

Copyright and logo

Unless stated otherwise, copyright of publications and content on the website is owned by QAA and is subject to the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. This material may be printed or copied for personal use without formal permission or charge. If you wish to use it on your own intranet or website, or to circulate it for marketing, educational, research or other purposes, please contact us.

For reuse of material that identifies copyright ownership as other than QAA's, you should contact the copyright owner.

Re-use of our logo is not permitted except by organisations with which we are working in partnership and to which we have granted formal permission. The QAA Quality Mark and the QAA Review Graphic may be available for use, however, by subscribers and other institutions that we review if their review has a successful outcome.

Feedback and enquiries

We would like to hear if you have any problems, comments or suggestions concerning our information publication scheme, or if you would like a hard copy of the scheme. Please feel free to contact us for any further information.
