These tools are known collectively as the Academic Infrastructure. The final report of the evaluation, now available, sets out a clear agenda for revising the Academic Infrastructure to ensure that it remains 'fit for purpose'. Two papers published today as part of QAA's 'Outcomes from institutional audit' series show that the Code of practice is firmly embedded within institutions' procedures for quality assurance. The evidence in the papers shows that several sections of the Code of practicehave been 'particularly influential', and that institutions have adapted their procedures in the light of the guidance provided in the Code.
